Retreat Bayou 2009 was a great trip this year. The clergy that attended were blessed with living in a different context for a few days: woprking their bodies instead of their minds.
I for one launched a kayak 2.5 miles offshore for the sole purpose of hooking up with a shark and did so. Unfortunately no picture of the shark as I was under strict order to not let it get too close to the boat.
I tell you when you hop out of a boat into an eleven foot kayak in the deep of the Gulf of Mexico you get a sense of the great depths of God!
May he be glorified not only in his wonderful creation but by us!
